- Prepares monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Prepares monthly sales tax returns
- Assists in the preparation of annual budgets
- Reconciles all balance sheet accounts

- Prepares unclaimed property returns for appropriate states
- Enters assets in depreciation software and records monthly depreciation
- Manages sales and use tax audits
- Analyzes segregation of duties and internal controls
Payroll
- Processes bi-weekly payroll
- Submits bi-weekly payroll FICA taxes to IRS
- Prepares and submits quarterly taxes – 941, 940, state and state unemployment insurance taxes
- Processes year-end tax reports for 940, state and state unemployment insurance taxes
- Prepares W-2’s and provides to employees electronically and submits electronically to SSA
- Tracks child support and garnishments
- Handles employment verifications
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Posts deposits and verifies with the bank
- Reviews and enters invoices into MAS accounting system
- Weekly aging of invoices
- Weekly check runs – checks reviewed by CFO before mailing
- Reconciles AP trial balance and aging to general ledger
- Reviews vendor statements for unpaid invoices
- Prepares annual 1099’s
Cash Management
- Prepares weekly cash requirements report – tracking all cash inflows and outflows
- Ensures cash bank accounts are not overdrawn
- Completes monthly bank reconciliations
- Opens new bank accounts and credit card merchant accounts
Human Resources
- Writes and maintains policy handbooks
- Assists with job postings and hiring process
- Employee onboarding
- Assists with progressive discipline
- Maintains employee files
- Benefits administration
- Handles unemployment claims and medical support notices
- Maintains organizational charts
- Files annal EEO and Workers Comp reports
- Tracks PTO and Leaves
Risk Management
- Compiles and reviews claims documentation and files claims for liability and workers compensation
- Follows up with claims adjusters and doctors as necessary
- Handles all drug testing issues on all post-accident claims
- Available 24/7 for any questions that may arise
- Ensures all location shave current Federal/State labor postings
- Completes liability/safety/workers comp training
- Performs annual safety audits
Marketing
- Provides consulting on marketing, advertising, and communication practices in the workplace
- Provides evaluation of sponsorship review; social media practices in the work place and corporate brand review
Information Technology
- Provides consulting for networking, PCI compliance, hardware selection, programming, general tech support
Procurement
- Provides consulting for the purchase of supplies, furniture, fixtures, equipment, millwork, etc.
